Hayat Bakshi Mosque is located in Hayathnagar in the outskirt of Hyderabad in the state of Telangana, in South India. It is locally known as Hayathnagar Grand Mosque or Hayat Bakshi Begum Masjid. In 1672, during the reign of Abdullah Qutb Shah the fifth Sultan of Golconda, it was constructed. This mosque caters to the needs and requirements of the people of Hayatnagar and its surrounding neighborhoods to a great extend.

The premise of the mosque is spread across the land that measures nearly 5 acre. The rest house or Caravan Sarai has 130 rooms and large courtyard. On the north-east of the mosque is located the Hathi Bawli or the well of elephants. The master-pieces of calligraphic art are largely present in this mosque.
