So many of us dreams to go abroad just for fun or for education purpose or for staying permanently abroad or for earning their livelihood but how many gets success in this endeavors. Well some gets success very easily and some do not able to get visa due to one problem or the other. Lot of things had to be looked and planned to go abroad as one had to acquaint with necessary skills and total atmosphere gets changed. One will require lot of money as well as lot of paper work formalities had to be completed within stipulated period of time, so it can be well imagined that it is not child play to put things in right perspective.

Now let us come to astrological houses which are responsible for journeys. In journey astrology we had to look for various houses namely:-

- 3rd house stands for shorter journeys
- 7th house stands for success in foreign travels especially after marriage
- 9th house stands for longer journeys and travels related to education
- 12th house stands for staying abroad

Coming to 3rd house in Vedic astrology, if this house is strong enough one will succeed in shorter journeys from time to time. This house also stands for transport which is necessary for journeys.

7th house stands for success in foreign travels. This house is basically studied for success rate in journeys after marriage.

9th house is seen for longer journeys especially by air or sea travel and one who wants to go abroad for studies. For success in education abroad this house is given more weightage.

12th house is seen for settling abroad. This house is analyzed when one wants to settle abroad.

Apart from that position of Jupiter had to be studied which stands for longer journeys and rahu which stands for foreign places in horoscope.

Now if 9th house is in bad condition one will not get enough success in studying abroad and luck would not give ample support but if this house is in stronger position then one will get tremendous success as far as education abroad is concerned.

Similarly if 12th house is in bad shape chances of staying abroad would be less and if chances come it would be problematic life for an individual.

Similarly if Jupiter is stronger in horoscope, then it would give chances for longer journeys in his dasa. Benefic Rahu will also give success in foreign journeys.
