Sri Ambagashaswara temple is located in the sub-town named Chinnur, in the district of Adilabad, in the state of Telangana, in South India. It is in the outskirt of the district head quarter. It is nearly 350km far from Hyderabad. The primary deity of this temple is Lord Ambalashaswara who is a form of Lord Shiva along with a combination of His consort named Amba. This particular combination of God and Goddess is affectionately called Lord Ambagashwara Swamy in this region. The annual temple festival is conducted during the summer season with the active participation of local people, adherent devotees and pilgrims. This temple remains open from early morning hours to early noon and later in the early evening hours to early night hours for its visitors.
