The Birla Mandir or Temple is devoted to the famous Hindu god Lord Vishnu who is supposed to be the conserver and his wife goddess Laxmi, the 'Goddess of Wealth'. The temple stands strong on a piece of land which was known to have offered by a king or rather a Maharaja to the family of the Birla's on just a mere token amount of one rupee. The temple is considered to be a highly revered place of worship by the Hindus.



An ancient Hindu pilgrimage site is Galtaji temple in the state of Rajasthan. It is perfectly built in a successful manner within a mountain pass that falls within the Aravalli Hills. It is in the east direction of Jaipur. It has been since the early 1500s, retreat for Hindu ascetics belonging to vaishnavite Ramanandi sect. In the 18th Century, the current temple was built by Diwan Rao Kriparam who was a courtier of Sawai Jai Singh II. It is to be highly noted that the principal temple among the temples of Galtaji is built with pink stone.



As per the local Historians, Garh Ganesha temple was build in a successful manner by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh - I when he wholeheartedly performed the yagna called "Ashwamegha Yagya" just before the establishment of the city of Jaipur. It was he who constructed this shrine and installed the statue of Lord Ganesha. It is strongly believed that only after that he placed the foundation stone of the city of Jaipur. The surprising element of this temple and the king is that he placed the statue in such a manner that Maharaja could be directly able to personally see the statue



Immense religious significance is showered on the Govind Dev Ji Temple owing to the idol of Govind Dev Ji which is believed to have been principally housed by the Vrindavan temple in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The idol of the Lord is stated to share a stark similarity with none other than the Lord himself that is Lord Krishna. It is widely and strongly believed that the temple's idol looks accurately like the form of the Lord during the time of his embodiment on earth.



The Ganesh Temple of Moti Dungri is supposed to be amongst the significant religious sites of Jaipur. The statue of Lord Ganesh is stated to be the chief attraction of the temple as the deity is found to be in a seated posture and the trunk is positioned on the left side close to his hand which is known to be quite an auspicious feature. As per Hinduism, Lord Ganesh rides on a rat, therefore, a huge statue of a rat made from marble is situated in front of the god. The idol of the god is always known to be enveloped in vermillion.



The temple as stated above is known to be devoted to goddess Durga and hence, is dedicated to the Shakti cult. 'Shakti' is adored in the form of a Supreme Being with regard to Shaktism.
