Kaila devijee temple is located in the town named Kailadev that is situated 37 km from Gangapur City and 23 km from Karauli, in the state of Rajasthan, in Northwestern India. It is situated on the bank of River Kalisil which is a tributary of the River Banas. The shrine is largely dedicated to the tutelary deity named goddess Kaila Devi, of the erstwhile princely Jadaun Rajput rulers of the Karauli state. This temple is thronged by adherent devotees and pilgrims by foot from the states of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and rest of Rajasthan and all over India during the holy month of Chaitra. They indulge in Jagran and planting of red flag at this particular shrine. It is one of the most sought after and most frequented Hindu temple in this particular region.
