This particular temple is very popular during the Bonaalu festival season. The primary deity of this temple is Peddamma. The name of this Goddess literally means "The Supreme Mother" or "Mother of Mothers". According to the local legends, Peddamma is one of the eleven forms of Village Deities. She is regarded as the Supreme most the other forms. Most of the adherent devotees offer different types of sacrifices and special prayer at this temple. It is one of the most sought after temple during Bonalu in this particular region by women folks.

On the other hand, the other popular festivals grandly celebrated in this temple are Durga Navaratri during Dasara in Ashwayuja masam, Vasantha Navaratri in Chaitra masam and Bonalu in Ashada masam. There is good crowd of Hindu devotees on all Sundays at this temple. In this temple special poojas are conducted on all the major and minor Hindu festivals as per the traditional Hindu calendar.
