Sri Saibaba Temple is located New Boyaguda Bridge, in Station Road, in Monda Market, in Secunderabad, in Hyderabad district, in the state of Telangana, in South India. This temple was established in 1980. The statue of Sai Baba was in a successful manner installed by Sri Manikyam. Within the temple premises is situated the Dhuni. It is a small temple that attracts a large number of Sai devotees and local devotees in this particular region to a great extent.

Sai Baba Temple Religious Significance

Sri Saibaba Mandir is marked with daily devotional programs that are largely participated by local devotees and Sai devotees. It is to be remembered that in this shrine the worship schedule begins early hours in the morning and continues till late hour in night. It is to be highly noted that the daily worship program comprises various rites and rituals for Shri Saibaba. On the other hand, at 4.30am, the Dwarkamai, Gurusthan and Chavdi widely open for the devotees. The Samdhi Mandir broadly opens at around 5am. The invoking of Sai Baba of Shirdi begins with prayers and various rituals with a lot of perfection. At 9pm Gurusthan and Chavadi close for devotees. The Dwarkamai closes at around 9.45pm. The temple fully closes by 10.45pm. The various religious function and activities conducted at this particular shrine are Bhupali, abhishekam at Gurusthan, Oil offered to the lamps in Dwarkamai, Arati, Naivedyam of butter and sugar to Baba in Samadhi Mandir, Bhajan in Saibaba Mandir, Mangal Snaan (washing) of Statue plus Samadhi in Samadhi Mandir, Naivedyam in Samadhi Mandir plus Dwarkamai, Satyanarayana Pooja, Dhuni Pooja with ghee and rice in Dwarkamai, Mid day Arati, Noon Naivedyam in Samadhi Mandir, Dwarkamai plus Gurusthan, Pothi (Devotional reading/Study) in Samadhi Mandir, Dhoop (evening) Arati at Sunset, evening Naivedyam in Samadhi Mandir, Dwarkamai plus Gurusthan and Devotional Songs in Samadhi Mandir and other Cultural and religious Programs.

Sai Baba Temple Architectural Significance

Sri SaiBaba Temple's total dimensions are approximately 450sq.ft. On the other hand, the size of Sai Baba statue is about 6ft in height. The Dhuni is in the temple premises burns the whole day and night. It is a well build temple structure that is really specious for religious functions and activities in the normal and festive days. The prayer halls can accommodate a good number of devotees. The halls have good number of old portrait of this God. The temple premise has medium size walls in the four sides with an entrance and exist gateways. The temple's architectural style and pattern resembles the Sai Baba temples of Shridi region in all aspects. The building structure is much visible in the busy market area for the devotees.

Festivals at Sai Baba Temple

The main festivals that are grandly celebrated at Sri Sai Baba Mandir are Ramnavami in March/April, Guru Purnima in July and Shirdi Vijayadashmi (Sri Sai Punyatithi) in October. These main festivals are marked with special prayer, rituals and rites at this shrine. Sai devotees and local devotees participate in all these major festivals along with family members, relatives and close friends. On all normal days and auspicious days, the shrine is visited by devotees from the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secundrabad in large number. Queue system is maintained during the peak hours at this temple. The security system is in-charge of managing the crowd and looks after the discipline is followed in the premises. There is good number of pooja items stores in the vicinity of this shrine from where the devotees can purchase pooja items at reasonable and affordable price tags.
