Sri Ganapathi Devalayam is located just beside the Secunderabad Railway station on the Station Road in the heart of Secundrabad, in Hyderabad in the state of Telangana, in South India. The primary deity of this temple is Lord Ganesha. This particular shrine enthralls the adherent devotees with its unique spiritual ambience. Within the temple premises, there are small temples that are dedicated to Sri Anjaneya Swamy, Sri Subrahmanya Swamy, Deva Sena Sametha and Sri Navagraha Valli. Sri Ganapathi Devalayam History

According to the local legends and historian, an idol of Lord Ganapathi was found by the Madras Regiment Sepoys in 1824 near the Secunderabad Railway Station while they were digging a big and deep well for portable water. The temple's present form was constructed in 1932. On this temple, certain additional structures were added during the 1960's and 1970's because of the good response from the adherent devotees who regularly assembled at this temple on all festive occasions and religious events with much dedication and commitment.

Sri Ganapathi Devalayam is constructed according to Aagama Sastra. This temple has specious premises that is walled from four sides with an entry and exist gate. The main temple is located at the centre of the premises with sub-temples in its surrounding. The main tower has images of Hindu Gods and Goddess. The flooring and ceiling of this temple is really attractive. The pillars in the prayer halls are well-designed with a lot of perfection.
