Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Swamy temple is located in Manyamkonda (or Mannemkonda, Manikonda), in the district of Mahbubnagar, in the state of Telangana, in South India. It is an ancient cave Hindu temple in this particular district. The principal deity of this shrine is Sri Venkateswara Swamy. It is approximately 16 Kms from Mahbubnagar District head quarters and lies on the main road towards Raichur. It is to be highly noted that Manyamkonda is one of the significant spiritual centers in the district of Mahbubnagar and in the state of Telangana. According to the local legends and religious experts, in the ancient days many sages and spiritual gurus such as Narasimha Yogi, Kasirayalu, Ettepu Ramayogi, Yanumaddhasu and Veerappaiah were doing meditation at this particular spot so this place came to be known as Munulakonda. With the passage of time this place name got transformed to Manyam Konda.
